Unrivalled market access

Auction & Private Treaty

Combining the strengths and experience of both the Auction and Private Client Investment teams ensures the best advice is given and the best sale price is achieved.

We do this by using the marketing resources of both teams and the auction sale date as a backstop to the private treaty sale if necessary.

In the first half of this year over £20m of property has been sold with the benefit of both departments working in conjunction to secure a successful sale. The threat of the auction deadline and use of the auction contract can focus the mind of a purchaser.

In addition, the Private Client Investment team has benefitted from access to the diverse mailing list offered by the Auction department and this has led to unrivalled success on assets between £2m and £8m.

Marketing

We pride ourselves on our ability to market directly to over 250,000 registered private UK and overseas investors who have expressed an interest in property investment.

Utilising multi-channel marketing methods before, during and after auction, ensures we maximise our communications to potential investors, ensuring unrivalled market exposure for our clients’ properties.

Our digital media advertising ensures a broader reach and exposure to new audiences, as well as content rich campaigns for better brand exposure.

In the past 12 months we have:
‹‹- Launched a specialist review website, housing all of our annual and summer auction market reviews providing industry insights for both commercial and residential investments.
‹‹- Developed a trilogy of auction films providing step by step guides on how to “prepare for auction”, “buy at auction” and “sell at auction”.
‹‹- Launched an auction market blog, that discusses insights and trends before/after an auction.

In the next month we will be launching further improvements to the website to enable buyer requirement to be matched with properties being offered.

This content enables us to build a larger digital footprint, so that we have a greater presence online. It also provides a good resource for new vendors and buyers to the auction market, to help dispel the myths of property auctions and understand the industry better.
