International Interest Shown in the Online Catalogue in 2014
In 2014 the online catalogue received a total of 1.41m visits from 196 territories globally. 40% of these were new visitors.

On average, 143,000 visits were made to the online catalogue during the three week marketing period preceding each of the seven sales held.
The number of remote bids registered for lots in 2014 remains largely unchanged from 2013. 1,543 bids were logged for telephone, proxy or internet bidding. In 2013, the total was 1,552.
Significantly, the relative proportions of preferred remote bidding methods have shifted. Internet bids now represent 13% of the total (up 86% from 7% in 2013) with proxy (postal) bids rising from 6% to 11% (up 83%). This is an important change in approach. We expect to see more online bidding in particular as younger buyers enter the market.
